about me

I was born in Venice in 1960. I am a member of ALI LIUTAI AND ARCHITECTURE PROFESSIONALS of Cremona and of the Anlai Association for Artistic Violin Making also from Cremona and most recently from the Association of American Violin Makers, I became acquainted with music as an autodidact, but my training is technical-nautical. I started working with wood as a model maker and in 1995 I approached violin making. I have tried to learn the most innovative techniques, always experimenting with various solutions, while remaining tied to totally handcrafted construction. In fact, I only use solid wood in various woods from my regular suppliers, using shellac varnish. I am very picky about the first choice woods I use and of course I varnish by hand in the French style with a wick.

My laboratory

My laboratory is located in the historic center of Venice exactly in the Sestiere of Castello 1240 in the only way to Venice Via Garibaldi is located in the middle between the historic arsenale and the Biennale Of art in just a few minutes from piazza San Marco,where I regularly receive my customers and I am willing to send my purchased products via shipping by Express Courier with insured.

My production

For some years I work with clients both EU and non-EU.

Normally I build my guitars, custom, I have, however, some of the guitars are ready to be able to test in the section of my studio, where I have gained a special space.

My guitars are born all of my custom project that, over the years, I think it is very balanced, making the quality and the uniqueness of the instrument according of course to the specific requirements of the customer.

My warranty

Each guitar is a part of my work and my time, I will always care for them even in the post-sale. The collaboration with the musicians For me, it is essential to direct confrontation with the musicians, especially those who have believed in me since the beginning. Thanks to these collaborations, I was able to find my construction line. So listening is an integral part of my work. I have some musician friends that I always test my guitars, because only one who is a musician can give you tips or ideas on how to improve.
